Move over Rockefeller Center, NYC! There’s a new tree-lighting tradition that has started this year in The Great American Neighborhood®, Walden!
Neighbors, business owners, and the community gathered as the 50-foot evergreen was lit up with thousands of sparkling lights.
The streets of Walden Crossroads were lit with sparkling lights where attendees of the celebration could visit The Shops at Walden and sample cookies and cocoa.
Carolers provided a festive holiday soundtrack as they traveled through Walden and led the neighbors in song.
Boy Scout Troop 80 is selling trees on the corner of the Walden Crossroads square, and many families purchased their trees and walked them home–no need to strap to the roof of the car this year!
