Kick off the holiday season at The Great American Neighborhood® Walden, in Mechanicsburg for the annual tree lighting and winter celebration!
You couldn’t pick a better time to see The Great American Neighborhood,Walden than December 4th from 6-8pm when Walden comes alive for Walden Winter Lights. See the stunning Walden evergreen light up at 6pm, then tour the streets of the village and be amazed at the breathtaking homes decorated for the holidays. Enjoy a cup of cocoa at The Shops at Walden open house, and pick up your tree from boy scout troop 80 on the village square tree market!

Where: Walden, Mechanicsburg
The tall evergreen sitting on the outskirts of Walden Woods will light up the main street of Walden, where shops line the streets (and will be open with holiday goodies during the celebration!).
This tall pine was saved during neighborhood construction and replanted in Walden Woods by the Charter Homes & Neighborhoods team. (see more about the transplant of the tree here!)
Walden Winter Lights kicks off with the lighting of the Walden Evergreen at6pm at the corner of Walden Way and Ellington
Then, take part in the Streetscape Tour & Judging of Walden Homes, lit for the holidays.
Be sure to stop in a the Holiday Open House at the Shops at Walden, with cocoa, cookies, & carolers
