A guest blogger's perspective on touring the new Alexandria, one of the ready now homes in Grandview. In her own words...
"Last week, I had the pleasure of touring the Alexandria at Grandview in Manheim Township. I was surprised to walk into an unfurnished home and immediately think WOW, this home is beautiful! Shortly after entering, I realized it wasn’t just an immediate reaction, as I explored this home, one room at a time. To be completely honest, I don’t think I stood in a room I didn’t love.
The open floor plan allows each room to perfectly flow together yet each room has its own sense of character. There was a lot of thoughtfulness and attention to detail that went into the design.
Speaking of details, the kitchen is breathtaking and a cook/baker/chef’s dream with cabinets and counter space that seem never ending yet tastefully placed. The wall of windows that replicate themselves throughout the house are an added bonus. I mentioned this home is not furnished but I found myself staring out the windows as if the views beyond them were pictures in itself. Just imagine having that view as the seasons change each year.
Another charming feature…TWO fireplaces! It was the fireplace in the front living room that caught my eye. The one room on the first floor that, in a way, separates itself from everything else, now has cozy and calm written all over it! Upon leaving the home, I stood on the porch and looked out at the view in front of me. It was absolutely picturesque.
I was overwhelmed with a peaceful and comforting feeling knowing that people create these special places for us to live in, embrace and enjoy. If you have a few spare minutes in your day, visit Grandview and you will see that this home and so many others throughout the neighborhood have more than just curb appeal."
