Fall Decorating Goes Nude and Natural

Neutral textures, patterns and colors have dominated the home design scene and our hearts. Pull out your traditional bright orange holiday decor and it may scream a little too loud. This "colorless" palette elevates the sophistication factor in your home.

We've pulled together a little decorating inspiration from our favorite Pinterest Pins. Some must haves:

The Great White Pumpkin - Set aside Mr. Jack O'Lantern and his scary wide smile and opt for a subtle, faceless, white pumpkin.  Why white? The white will make your other colors and decorations stand out without competing. Choose from an assortment of sizes and textures. Where to buy:  Check out decorator and craft stores like Marshall's HomeGoods or Michael's.

Flameless Candles - These little gems are fantastic and are available in a variety of sizes. Fill in an arrangement or light a mantle without wax dripping onto your table.  Where to buy: QVC.com and Lights.com has a variety of sizes.

Bring The Outside In - Your white pumpkin will look fantastic against undefinedMother Nature's foliage.  Line a table with magnolia leaves and nestle in other outdoor finds like berries and pine cones all in a similar color scheme. Where to buy: These are free, just don't snip from your neighbor!

Burlap Runner - A simple table runner made of natural fibers sets the stage for a beautiful centerpiece and ties in nicely with the neutral theme.  Where to buy:  Fabric stores, Etsy.com.
