Summer is here, and so is Walden’s new pool

Summer is here. It’s time to catch some rays and catch up with the neighbors – at the newly opened Walden Pool and Hall.

We’re proud to officially open Walden Hall and Walden Pool, two new spots for neighbors to hang out, relax, and get to know each other. With these new amenities, there are now more places to experience Life a Walk Away® within five minutes of your front door at Walden.

Walden Hall is a casual gathering place where friends and neighbors can connect. They can lounge in the casual sitting room next to the cozy stone fireplace and oversized windows; or get together for a party in  the event space that features a state-of-the-art kitchen. The Hall opens up to the pool area, which features a covered veranda, lounge areas and a kids splash zone providing both fun in the sun and shade.

“Having a place for people to come and share some great summer days together, I think it’s going to be great for community building in general,” said Carl Marrara, a Walden homeowner and father of three-and-a-half-year-old Abigail.

“It is nice to have whether you swim or not, you can just come down here and meet your neighbors and socialize,” added Walden homeowner Dave Sheranko on the new amenities.

Walden is already full of spaces to enjoy all just a walk away, including The Shops at Walden, Walden Woods, TerraPark®, and The Grove.

“Walden prides itself on front-porch living and having common areas that bring neighbors together,” said, Kim Shearer, secretary of Walden’s Neighborhood Homeowner Association. “You can sit on your porch and hang out with your neighbors, you can go to the park and hang out with your neighbors, so it is one more amenity to enjoy.”

The 2,000-square-foot Walden Hall and Pool sits on the two acre Emerson Park, a new central green located in the northwest corner of the neighborhood. Flanked by newly released single-family homesites and townhomes under construction, the park provides a space to play for all ages.

Tour Walden seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. or visit for more info.
