Walden Founders Honored at Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Thursday, September 28th, the founding families of Walden used ceremonial shovels to make the first dig toward their new digs. With champagne toasts, first-class nibbles and Charter's expert team leading introductions and Q&A, these forward-thinking families got a glimpse of their future neighborhood taking shape.
Charter President Rob Bowman was on-hand to discuss Walden's unique plans, including the majestic 34-acre Township Park, retail-focused Old Main Street and the mix of charming townhomes, garden homes, cottages, bungalows and single homes designed to foster a vibrant and diverse community. Meanwhile, founders like Jen and Mike Evans and Pete and Kathy Delorenzo made the acquaintance of their new builders and future neighbors. By all accounts, it was an auspicious start to Mechanicsburg's most exciting new destination.
