Work at Charter

My 6 years at Charter have been the most rewarding of my professional career. I’ve always sought to be part of a team that not only values its Customer, but also its Employee. Charter has invested in learning about me and my strengths and has allowed me to grow into a position where my strengths are not only utilized but highlighted. I look forward to the continued growth within myself and within Charter in the years to come.

It is an absolute honor to be chosen Builder of the Quarter. It means a great deal to me considering the high values of our company. I am surrounded by people who do the right thing at every turn, and put our homeowners first. Our purpose is in the forefront of my everyday routine. From site safety to homeowner priority, our team always puts our homeowners first. I am very proud to be a builder for Charter, but equally as proud of how I am perceived by my peers. I am very blessed to call Charter home.

After 12 years at home raising my daughter and being out of the workforce, Charter gave me the opportunity for a sales position and I haven’t looked back ever since. I had the unique experience of building my own home with the company before working for them, which gave me a perspective I’ve been able to apply to my role as neighborhood sales manager. It’s not common for people to stay in sales with the same company for as long as I have, but Charter has given me the tools I need to succeed and the opportunity to make an impact in people’s lives.

My time at Charter has allowed me to assist and guide many families in making one of the largest and most important purchases of their life. My position as a Neighborhood Sales Manager allows me to have a hand in a homebuyers’s purchase decision where they will create a lifetime of memories in their new home. With Charter’s ongoing training, they have provided me with all of the tools that I need to succeed and the opportunity to grow both as an individual and professionally as well. In addition, Charter always promotes an atmosphere of teamwork.

I have enjoyed working at Charter for the past 8 years. I came on board to help Charter grow into Pittsburgh, and to grow myself. Coming to work each day is rewarding knowing I am helping my homebuyers by delivering on the promise of giving them a home in a neighborhood where everything is 500 steps from their front door. We at Charter are reimagining the way we live in the suburbs. The idea that we are doing something different than anyone else is what motivates me!
