At Arcona in Mechanicsburg, everyday life extends beyond the front door. From shopping and dining to fitness and gathering places, Crossroads brings more of what homeowners enjoy within walking distance of home.
As Arcona continues to grow, new businesses are joining Crossroads, including IDEA Coffee and Amore Pizza. Located near Arcona Green in the heart of the neighborhood, these locally owned businesses will add even more places to meet friends, enjoy a meal, or spend time close to home. And with more than 10 miles of neighborhood walking trails, getting around is part of the experience.
Along with these new additions, Charter is investing $7.5 million in road improvements designed to make Arcona even more walkable and connected. The project includes a new entrance from Rossmoyne Road, three roundabouts, road widening, pedestrian crosswalks, and additional paved walking paths connecting to the neighborhood trail system.
Landscaped with native plants and trees, the roundabouts will help manage traffic while creating more welcoming connections throughout Arcona and the surrounding area.
Together, these improvements are another step in creating a neighborhood where more of everyday life happens close to home.
