Recon Brewing Now Open at Meeder

We're thrilled to announce that our first Crossroads at Meeder business is officially open! Recon Brewing just opened their second taproom at Meeder, The Great American Neighborhood® in Cranberry Township. Now, the more than 150 homeowners who have made the decision to call Meeder home since the neighborhood opened less than two years ago will have a new spot to gather for a drink with neighbors and friends. 

Based in Butler, PA, Recon was established in February 2016 by 3 friends that met through the Butler Township fire service. Toby Wehr, Dave Bestwick and Nate Bacher set out on a mission to start a brewery that would focus on high quality brews known for their drinkability and value. Their “drink local” mentality means that all materials, supplies, equipment, and even design are sourced locally. Recon has quickly become a favorite local spot known for their involvement in the Butler community. Now they're excited to bring that same community spirit to Cranberry and the Meeder neighborhood.
