There are a lot of things that set The Great American Neighborhood® apart. Thoughtful details like Belgian block curbs and curved streets. Timeless architecture and beautiful landscape, preserved green space and small locally owned shops just steps from home. And gathering places intentionally designed in the heart of the neighborhood where you can gather with friends and neighbors, whether for an impromptu catch up or more organized events.
Recently, those events have been Summer Movie Nights in our Great American Neighborhoods, where neighbors have the opportunity to grab their favorite snacks, some comfy seats and walk to the park to watch a family movie under the stars. There are games to play before the movie starts, plenty of space for kids to run around and practice their cartwheels and an overall feeling of community that you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else in the suburbs. And since our movie nights are open to everyone, it’s a great way to come out and get a sneak peak of what it’s like to live in The Great American Neighborhood®.
When people choose a place to live, they usually only think about what they need in a home, but the space between is just as important. The space between is what allows us to have Summer Movie Nights, Holiday Tree Lightings and Neighborhood Easter Egg hunts. It’s what makes our neighborhoods as special as the people who live in them.
