Construction is underway on Coffee Brake at Meeder, a friendly coffee shop that will offer neighbors a place to walk for their favorite cup of Joe, an afternoon pick me up or something to satisfy their sweet tooth. Just steps from Meeder Green in the heart of the neighborhood, Coffee Brake at Meeder will open next year, joining Recon Brewing as the first two Crossroads businesses at Meeder.
To celebrate this announcement, the team from Coffee Brake will be on-site at Meeder giving away free cups of coffee and cookies on National Coffee Day – Tuesday, September 29th from 10:30-12:30 PM.
“We can’t wait to become a part of the Meeder neighborhood. Our approach is to be a cozy, familiar place that our customers view as a home away from home and we’re looking forward to getting to know the neighborhood and providing that for the people who live in Meeder,” said Stephanie Oliver, owner. This announcement comes on the 3rd anniversary of Oliver’s original Coffee Brake location opening in Evans City.
Crossroads is an integral part of The Great American Neighborhood®, offering homeowners the opportunity to live in a neighborhood where they can Walk To It All, from shopping, dining, fitness, coffee and more. “Lots of residential projects have promised what Crossroads provides without success. Frankly, it’s taken us many years to get it right and we’re still working to make it better,” said Rob Bowman, President of Charter Homes & Neighborhoods®. “But ask any of our homeowners, and they will tell you that having a place they can walk to where the business owners know their name, their coffee order, and have their favorite beer on tap is one of their favorite things about living in The Great American Neighborhood®.”
